Well, as you know, I had intended to post a couple of entries describing the general faffing about I have been guilty of over the past couple of months in getting the business ready for launch. But - and possibly mercifully - I have been overtaken by events (and the filthy financial lucre promised by the up-and-coming Christmas celebrations) , and will be launching this coming Saturday at a small-scale do in my apartment building.

So, over the past few days, I have been busier than a US Foreign Affairs spokesman answering the phone to soothe the rumpled egos of America's diminishing pool of allies following Wikileaks latest disclosures in packing up some goods (British souvenirs, basically) and making them look generally fit for sale. Honestly, my apartment now looks as though a troupe of small children have passed through tosssing boxes, bags, paper, and labels wily-milly left, right and center. I think my cat is on the point of moving out, having long since lost her customary comfy chair in the study to a teetering pile of partially-wrapped gift items. Still, I should be through the worst of it soon and will be able to remind myself once again of the color of the floors.

Give me a day or two, and I'll post a few pictures to show you some of the items  up for sale at the weekend.

In the meantime, I am off to celebrate KP's extraordinary exploits with both the bat and ball in the time-honoured fashion. Here's hoping the rain holds off tomorrow, what, what??
